Description

Softly-sculpted overlapping leaf motifs create warm depth in this cuddly neckwarmer and mitt set in two sizes (S, L). The neckwarmer features a pretty scalloped bottom edge and the mitts have a sculpted thumb gusset for a beautiful fit.

Suggested Yarns:

Bare Naked Wools Polwarth Sport, Jacob’s Dream Sport, Shetlandia Sport, Finn Dandy 3-ply Sport, Modern Deco Sport, Better Breakfast DK or any soft, DK/sport yarn with 150-180 yards per 2 ounces. 

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size.

Finished Size:

Neckwarmer: 17(19.5) inches in circumference; 6 inches in length (washed and blocked)

Mitts: 5.5(6.5) inches in circumference to fit hands measuring up to 7(8) inches around

Yarn Requirements:

Neckwarmer: 90(110) yards

Mitts: 100(120) yards

Gauge:

Neckwarmer: 22 sts and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette on larger needles

Mitts: 24 sts and 36 rows = 4 inches in stockinette on smaller needles

Needles:

Neckwarmer: size 6US(4.0 mm) 16-inch circular needle or size to obtain correct gauge

Mitts: DPNs size 4US(3.5 mm) or size to obtain correct gauge
