Work in a round, tightly twisted yarn for a windproof fabric or in a relaxed yarn or fiber blend for a softer texture. May be striped as you please for a scrappy, giftable knit!

Note: sizing may be adjusted by using needles one size up (looser fit) or down (tighter fit)
Yarn Requirements: 140(155, 170, 190, 210, 225, 250) yards
Gauge:
20 sts and 34 rows = 4 inches / 10 cm in stockinette stitch (knit flat, washed, and air-dried)
23 sts and 36 rows = 4 inches / 10 cm in stockinette stitch (knit in the round, washed, and air-dried)
Needles:
DPNs size 5US (3.75 mm) or size to obtain correct gauge
Note: mittens may be worked on DPNs, two circular needles or using magic loop method, as desired
