Description

This is a simple, vintage-style raglan jumper knitted in DK wool for children aged 1 – 11 years. It has an optional neck opening and a colourwork design at the lower edges and across the chest. I designed it for people who prefer to knit garments in parts but who like the look of a colourwork yoke. There is no knitting in rounds. The colour work is deceptively simple consisting of a repeat of just 4 stitches so no carrying of floats is necessary which helps to keep the tension even. I used Debbie Bliss Rialto DK but you could substitute andy good quality yarn of the same gauge.
