Suri Alpaca is a great alternative to mohair – it has the fluffy halo, a bit of shine due to the silk core, and all the warmth of the suri alpaca. This lace weight suri has a generous 437 yds in 50g, and pairs well if you hold it together with a fingering weight yarn. Some people find suri alpaca a tad less prickly compared to mohair.
