This is a great pattern for anyone who has learnt the basics of crochet. It contains the instructions to complete this super chunky cowl in two adult sizes and the a child’s size. The child’s cowl also serves as a great mini cowl for an adult too!
I created this design using my own merino tops, I split the yarn and pre-felted it to the correct tension before creating these designs with a huge 20mm crochet hook. They grow super quick and will be ready to wear in less than an hour. A great alternative yarn to use would be Tjockt Fat n Sassy yarn, just one 250g hank is all you need to complete this project and if you just want a mini cowl you should get two cowls!
I have included full instructions on how to prepare merino tops should you choose this option. THe finished cowl is a fantastic statement accessory guaranteed to lift any outfit. They look especially good with a breton top
