Regatta Sock knitting pattern

Description

Toe-up sock in four sizes XS(S, M, L) featuring an openwork pattern of bobbing sailboats at the top of the leg with a wavy twist-stitch rib trailing down the ankle and foot in their wake.

Suggested Yarns:

Better Breakfast Fingering, Stone Soup Fingering, or any springy sock yarn with 450 yards or more per 100 grams. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size.

Finished Size:
5.5(6.75, 8, 9.25) inches unstretched, to fit feet measuring up to 6.5(8, 9, 10.5) inches around

Yarn Requirements:

325(375, 425, 500) yards

Gauge:

36 sts and 52 rows = 4 inches in stockinette

Needles:

DPNs size 0US (2.00 mm) or size to obtain correct gauge
