Description
This lightweight best friend “Redy” works with nearly everything, just throw it on and your’re ready to go with a comfortable warm mood.
It is a very simple seamless construction and it’s super easy to knit: You start in the round at the wide turtle neck and work a few increases. After separating the sleeves it’s stockinette all the way. Even though Redy is meant to be worn with the reverse stockinette side on the outside, you knit in plain stockinette and turn the jumper inside out at the end. So no purling apart for the ribbing on cuffs and waist band. There is no complicated shoulder or yoke construction. It really couldn’t be simpler.
Shown using one strand of ITO Urugami and one of ITO Awayuki (you can use ITO Sensai instead)
You can of course use a single strand of a fingering or DK weight.
Gauge: 17 sts x 25 rs = 10cm square
