I have designed Polar and Grizzly Bear Cousins specifically for super chunky faux fur yarns, a bit more than super chunky in my opinion. I have included links to these yarns on the pattern. If you wish to use thinner yarns please adjust your needle size to at least 2 sizes smaller than recommended needle size on the ball band. Polar and Grizzly Bears are designed to stand and measure 16 inches/41cm from head to toe. A perfect bear for a child’s best friend. He is knitted flat, feet, legs and body are knitted as one piece, head, ears, arms and tail are knitted separately. I have included a step by step assembly guide which is full of photos, hints and tips to help you create a perfect bear.
