Pine Cones socks knitting pattern

Description

A toe-up sock with the nubby texture and color of fir cones, highlighted at the side of the foot and leg by an openwork motif of pine cones hanging on branches.

Finished Size:

7(8, 9, 10) inches in circumference to fit feet measuring up to 8(9, 10, 11) inches around

Yarn Requirements:

250(300, 350, 400) yards

Gauge:

28 sts and 44 rows = 4 inches in stockinette
Note: row gauge is important in this pattern for proper placement of foot pattern

Needles:

DPNs size US1.5 (2.5 mm) or size to obtain correct gauge
