Description
Icelandic style cardigan with a Bohus-inspired stranded yoke and a nubby brioche body. Color plus texture equals fun!
Construction: Knitted from the top down in one piece. The stranded and textured yoke is worked flat. Sleeves are separated at the underarms, are worked flat, and seamed. Make the sweater body as long or as short as you like. Buttonband is picked up and knitted.
Techniques used: Reading colorwork charts, stranded knitting combining knit and purl stitches, basic brioche stitches, pick up and knit.
