Önling No 13: Wool-cashmere thread
Composition: 95% first-cut lambswool and 5% cashmere
Fingering weight: Cob-web
Yardage: 80 g = approx 1759 yards (1600 meters)
Recommended needle size: Not suitable for being used alone; it is meant to be used as an accompanying thread to add a touch of color, texture and structure.
Gauge: 28 sts = 10 cm on ndl US 2.5 (3 mm) / 23 sts = 10 cm on ndl US 4 (3.5 mm). Adding a thread of Önling No 13 will not change the gauge of the main yarn.
The DNA of the yarn: Cashmere from Asien. The yarn is produced in Turkey.

Önling No 13 is our luxurious companion yarn that you can use to make our other yarns even more enjoyable to work with and wear. You can’t use the yarn on its own, but it adds color play, texture and hold to your knitwear without weighing it down. We especially recommend it together with No 10, No 12 and No 21.
Unwashed yarn on cones:
The yarn Önling No 13 has not been prewashed when you receive the cones. You get the best result by soaking the finished project in lukewarm water for about 2 hours, as the yarn will open up and turn even softer. Then wash the project as you would otherwise do using a wool wash, either by hand or using the wool cycle of your washing machine. Dry flat.
No 12 and No 13 held together = Everyday kit
Our Everyday Yarn, Önling No 12, and No 13 are fantastic together, as No 13 gives No 12 an extra lift, a nicer hold and a better structure. We call this combination of yarns our Everyday Kit. You can knit an entire sweater in any size using 2 cones of No 12 and 1 large cone of No 13.
