Welcome to The Velvet Acorn, here you will find purely original pattern designs in knit and crochet. Inspired and crafted with my love of nature and the outdoors in mind. I always aim for comfort, warmth and versatility, timeless pieces that layer well and go with everything. I always create trying to pay close attention to detail, making every pattern design unique and filled with love and personality all their own.
Sweater sizes: The Moonlight cardigan is designed with a positive ease of approx. 4-7 inches. Circumference is measured with sweater buttoned at chest.
Note: Pictured is size 6/7 with a positive ease of 6.5 inches on a 6 year old child.
The sample was made with Loops & Threads Country Loom. A suggested substitue yarn is shown below.
