Do your Mitts Match? With this design, the decision is up to you! Make matching mitts using the same main color (MC) and contrast color (CC) for both mitts or switch the colors for mismatched, but complimentary, mitts! For two matching mitts, you’ll need 70 (80, 100) yds of MC and 40 (40, 50) yds of CC. For two mitts that swap the MC and CC, you’ll need 55 (60, 75) yds of each color!
The pattern includes three different sizes and charts for each MC and CC option. Choose the size that is closest to, or just below, your actual hand circumference at the base of your fingers for a snug and cozy fit.
Materials
DK-weight yarn for EACH mitt:
MC: 35 (40, 50) yds / 32 [37, 46] m
CC: 20 (20, 25) yds / 19 [19, 23] m
Gauges
24 sts / 27 rnds = 4” [10 cm] in Colorwork Chart, after blocking
20 sts / 32 rnds = 4” [10 cm] in ribbing, after blocking
