Description
Lulu is a reversible moebius cowl that is deeper and narrower than most moebius scarves or cowls, so that it can be worn in one layer around the neck or up over the head like a hood. It starts with Cat Bordhi’s moebius cast on and moves out from there in a reversible geometric stitch to a welted edge with an I-cord bind off. Lulu is made in Malabrigo Twist, a plied, lofty, Aran weight merino for softness, stitch definition, and squishable warmth. It is very quick to knit, and the stitch pattern is easy to read and memorize, making Lulu a great portable project. Both charted and written instructions are provided.
Gauge: 14.5 sts & 24 rows = 4”/10cm in pattern stitch; 14 sts & 22 rows = 4”/10cm in st st
For this pattern, exact stitch gauge is important to get the right circumference; repeats can be adjusted somewhat for different row gauges or to adjust the depth.
