Come learn how to knit at Cashmere Goat!

This 3 session, in person workshop, covers the very basics of knitting to get you started. 

You’ll learn the fundamental skills of casting on, knit and purl stitches and binding off. We’ll also give you an overview of basic knitting tools and terminology, and we’ll have fun doing it!

Sessions will be held on Friday evening, from 5:30-6:30, at 21 Mechanic St. Camden, Maine

Required materials:

• 1 100g skein of a worsted yarn in a light color.
• 1 pair of US 8 wooden knitting needles, straight or circular.

Important Details:

• Workshop will be held at the Cashmere Goat 21 Mechanic Street in Camden, on your selected date.
• Deadline to sign up is 48 hours before workshop.
• Minimum of 3 participants. Participants will be contacted 48 before class, if class will be canceled due to attendance.
• Cancellations are fully refundable 72 hours prior to the class date.
• Workshop fees are non-refundable if you cancel after 72 hours prior to the class date, or if you don’t show up.
• Must be 14 years old or older to participate.
• If there is a cancellation due to weather or other emergency, you will be given as much notice as possible and a full refund will be issued.
