Description
Lariana is a modern take on the Aran sweater, with set-in sleeves and streamlined Stockinette stitch side panels with diagonal accents. Directions are included for three different lengths: hip length (as shown), cropped and tunic length. Body and sleeves are worked separately in the round from the bottom up to the armholes; skills include cable knitting and chart reading, short row shaping, Three-needle Bind-Off, and sewing set-in sleeves. Shown in Katia Bulky Cotton, an unusual cotton/nylon blend yarn; see below for wool yarn options.
