Description
Combining back raglan armhole shaping with a feminine lace pattern mean that you’ll have an elegant and well fitting shrug. The raglan shaping at the back armhole creates a much better fit than simply working side to side, and gives you a chance to play with different stitch patterns. The sleeves are worked flat, added to a back tail, and then all worked at the same time.
Originally designed to use Classic Elite Fresco, you’ll want to use an alpaca blend for the best results. Consider using Manos del Uruguay Alpaca Heather (70% wool/30% alpaca), Hand Maiden Fine Yarn Alpaca Merino (70% superwash merino/30% alpaca), or The Fibre Company Road to China Light (65% baby alpaca/15% silk/10% camel/10% cashmere). You’ll need 685 (856) yds [626 (783) m] of a sport weight yarn.
