Description
A trending style with influence from OGE’s Diamond Sweater– P193, this design caters to boys and girls up to 12 years of age. This pattern is worked from the top down in one piece, no seaming required.

[A] — 6 months / [B] — 1 year / [C] — 2 years / [D] — 3-4 years / [E] — 5-6 years / [F] — 7-8 years / [G] — 9-10 years / [H] — 11-12 years
YARN:
As long as the gauge is the same as the pattern instructions – sweater can also be knitted in a superfine merino 8 ply DK yarn – result will be a little more bulk.
Design knitted in both Sports weight & light 8ply DK weight. End result and measurements were the same as per the pattern specs, however as mentioned the 8ply DK was slightly heavier.
My intention was to have a light weight knit.
*6 ply is a light weight feel for early Spring, Autumn.
*8 ply will produce a slightly thicker and warmer
