Meet the Blue Copper Maran: The Maran hen is a wonderfully calm and gentle breed of chicken making her the perfect backyard pet! She has stunning copper hackles that lay against a subtle slate blue feather. She is sometimes referred to as “chocolate eggers,” quite obviously for the dark brown eggs she lays.
