Description
I’ve always liked combining cables with panels of lace, textured stitches, or even plain stockinette. While allover designs have a great visual and technical appeal, I especially like the sophistication of motifs centered on the body and sleeves. Some waist shaping and use of set-in sleeves keep the fit more on the feminine side. The full-fashioned decreases at the armholes and sleeve caps lend this pullover a classy silhouette.
The yarn used for this piece should have a subtle thick-and-thin texture such as any good handspun yarn would have. And tonal coloring make this the perfect pairing to create a sophisticated addition to any wardrobe.
Driftless DK is a blend of 80% Rambouillet & Targhee wools, and 20% alpaca. The cakes come in 2 sizes; you’ll need a total of 813 (911, 1020, 1143, 1268, 1398, 1514) yds / 743 (833, 933, 1045, 1159, 1278, 1384) m.
