Description

A delicate lace motif flutters along the border of this airy triangle shawl, to knit from hem to neck in three sizes (petite, medium, tall). Using a luminous woolen-spun yarn will result in a fabric that glows from within to highlight the shawl’s beautiful linear elements.

Samples shown: size Petite in Breakfast Blend Fingering, shade Cream n Sugar and size Medium in Stone Soup Fingering, color Pumice

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and drape.
 
Finished Size:
16(24, 32) inches long at center back and 44(66, 88) inches across top edge (blocked)

Yarn Requirements:
300(550, 800) yards

Gauge:
22 sts and 34 rows = 4 inches in stockinette on larger needles (unblocked)

Needles:
size 6US (4.0mm) for hem (or size to obtain correct gauge)
size 5US (3.75mm) for body (or one size smaller than hem needle)
