Euro Ruby Cardigan and Hat PDF

Description

Ruby, a darling hat and sweater set worked in Euro Babe Softcotton Chunky, combines the lovely textures of garter and stockinette stitch, ribbing and cables into a single classic project. Both sweater ad hat are knit flat and seamed during finishing. Cable pattern is written out only.

Sizes: Newborn (0–6 months, 6–12 months, 1–2 years, 2–3 years)

   Cardigan – 18 (20, 22½, 23¾, 26)” chest 
   Hat – to fit an average size head for age indicated
Yarn Requirements: Euro Babe Softcotton Chunky (55% Acrylic/ 45% Cotton; 100g/153yds), shown in shade 11
   Cardigan – 2 (2, 2, 3, 3) skeins
   Hat – 1 skein
Needles: 
   US 8 (5.00mm)
   US 10 (6.00mm)

Gauge:
   14 sts and 26 rows = 4” in garter stitch on larger needles 
   14 sts and 20 rows = 4″ in stockinette stitch on larger needles
