Description
Echo Lake is one of 3 connected lakes near our home in Vermont. In summer the lakes are cool and clean. Many memories of summers past live there. In winter it is dotted with ice fishing shacks and snow. This hat is dedicated to a gentle winter snowstorm there.
Earflaps are knit flat, then stitches cast on between the earflaps, joined and finished in the round. The snowflakes are charted and the chart is repeated twice around the hat.
Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride Worsted was used in the models, but may now be unavailable. A great substitute? Malabrigo Worsted or any heavy worsted yarn.
