Description
Knit a Cleopatra doll for Egyptologists or fans of Liz Taylor. Cleo also has a little knitted asp snake for a Shakespearian ending! This pattern incorporates a 3 needle join to join the skirt to the body as you knit. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, these toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns. Most pieces are worked flat (back and forth) on single pointed knitting needles, not in the round. The headdress, bangles and belt are single crochet chains worked on the crochet hook, and the snake is i-cord worked on the two DPNs. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
