A spiraling cable motif adds interest to this ribbed unisex hat. Shown in Woolfolk Får.

Finished Sizes 12¼ (16½)“/31 (42) cm circumference, unstretched, to fit Baby/Toddler (Small to Medium Adult). Hat height 6¾ (8½)”/17 (21.5) cm. Shown in Size 16½“/42 cm.
Gauge 35 sts and 32 rows = 4” in cable and rib patt, unstretched; 20 sts and 30 rows = 4” in St st, blocked. Yarn is borderline DK/worsted weight; some heavier #3 Light (DK) weight yarns may work for this pattern.
Notes This hat is worked in the round. Crown decreases include an unusual technique that is similar to the initial step of a three-needle bind-off. Cable and rib stitch pattern is given in chart form only. Charts for Baby/Toddler and Adult sizes are given on two separate pages.
Note: Mirasol Sisa suggested as alternate, NOT additional yarn (choose one). If substituting yarn, check gauge on swatch!!
