My granddaughter, Poppy, asked me to knit a fairy for the top of her tree. Of course the fairy had to be purple with lots of bling and twinkles.

Christmas Tree Fairy sits at 6.5 inches/15cm, stands at 10 inches/25cm. Her feet, legs, body, and head are knitted as one pieces, flat and seamed along the back and inside leg. The skirts are knitted on. Her arms, ears, wig, and wings are knitted separately and sewn on. I have included a very detailed making up guide full of photos, hints and tips to help you create the perfect fairy for your tree or gift.

I used a star cake topper for her wand, star beads to adorn her and a gold/silver butterfly hair clip for her ponytail.
