Gauge:
20 sts and 30 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch (knit flat, washed and air-dried)
22 sts and 34 rows = 4 inches in lace pattern (knit flat, washed, and air-dried)

Needles:
size 7US (4.5 mm) straight or circular needles for scarf (or size to obtain correct gauge)
