Chicory Hat and Cowl Set Kit

Description

Dive into double knitting with a matching accessory set. Both hat and cowl are worked from the bottom up and feature a floral motif which is reversible! Pattern by Alison Green.

Just one skein each of two contrasting colors is enough yarn to make both items in the set.

Cowl – one size.
Hat – (16¼, 17½, 18½)“

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Cowl:
Approximately 30” / 76 cm around bottom
25” / 63 cm around top
10” / 25.5 cm high

Hat:
Approximately (16¼, 17½, 18½)“ / (41.5, 44.5, 47) cm around
(9, 9¼, 9½)” / (23, 23.5, 24) cm high

GAUGE:
22 pairs of stitches and 34 rounds = 4” / 10 cm in double knitting on larger needle

Gauge is measured after blocking. To save time and ensure accurate measurements, take time to check gauge.

Needles and notions are not included.
The hat and cowl both use:
US 5 (3.75mm) 16″ circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
US 3 (3.25mm) 16″ circular needle, if using tubular cast-on

If knitting the hat, you will also need US 5 (3.75mm) DPNs
