The Avlea Folk Embroidery “Byzantine Motifs” series of needleminders is inspired by the tiny decorations and ornamentations found in Byzantine manuscripts and iconography. The lovely motifs are truly tiny works of art! Needleminders are terrific for not just holding your needle when not in use, but for securing your fabric as you stitch, or holding your pattern to your frame. They can even be worn as a beautiful magnet pin! Needleminder is 1″ across and comes with a 1/2″ neodinum magnet (it’s strong!)
Byzantine Tulip is a stylized tulip with a pearled border in soft coral with gold enamel.
