This cute little skirt is made using a simple dc and a bobble stitch. It quick and easy to work up. Then the waistband is made with a sc rib stitch.

Row1 Ch12, dc in 4th ch from hook and each chain across. (9) Turn
Row2-4 ch1, dc in base of ch1, dc 7. (9) Turn
Square should measure 5 cm wide by 5 cm tall.
