The pyramid block is the foundation for this scrap quilt. We used 7 different fabrics, but you can use more or less if you like. (borders are optional)All pieces are cut from templates – template plastic or freezer paper is nice to have.
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS:
Lap Size:
1/2 yard each of 7 different fabrics for piecing (or a combination of fabrics to total 3 3/4 yards)
1/4 yard for 1st border
1/2 yard for 2nd border
1/3 yard binding
2 2/3 yards backing
48” x 64” quilt batting
Full Size:
1 1/3 yards each of 7 different fabrics for piecing (or a combination of fabrics to total 9 1/2 yards)
3/8 yard for 1st border
2/3 yard for 2nd border
1/2 yard binding
5 1/2 yards backing
88” x 106” quilt batting
Queen Size:
1 3/4 yards each of 7 different fabrics for piecing (or a combination of fabrics to total 11 3/4 yards)
1/2 yard for 1st border
