The Alocasia Cowl was inspired by one of my favorite houseplants Alocasia Polly. The plant boasts large dark green arrowhead shaped leaves with highly defined spines and veins in a lighter green. The small cowl features the unique leaf shape alternating in directions. Knit in the round in stranded knitting, its a fun, quick project perfect for using up leftover yarns. Knit up in Brooklyn Tweed’s Loft yarn the cowl has a rustic, woolly feel and slightly tweedy appearance. The Alocasia Cowl is the perfect accessory to bring a little houseplant joy to your wardrobe in the cooler months!
