Winding Diamonds knitting pattern

Description

A pretty diagonal lace pattern winds down the leg and over the top of the foot in these dressy top-down socks for three sizes. Knit with a fine yarn for a thinner fabric, these will feel closer to a stocking or trouser sock, but with a cozy warmth and sturdiness for all-day wear. Suggested Yarns:

Better Breakfast Fingering, Stone Soup Fingering, Modern Deco Lace, or any fine sock yarn with 500 yards per 100 grams. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size.

Finished Size:

7.5(8.5, 9.5) inches in circumference to fit feet measuring up to 8.5(9.5, 10.5) around

Yarn Requirements:

325(375, 425) yards

Gauge:

34 sts and 50 rows = 4 inches in stockinette

Needles:

DPNs size US1 (2.25 mm), or size to obtain correct gauge
