Schacht Warping Boards

Description

Warping Boards are the most commonly used measuring devices. Schacht warping boards are available in two sizes: the 14-yard warping board is one yard across and the 4½ yard warping board measures a half yard across. To withstand the strain of threads under tension, the hardwood dowels are tennoned and pressed securely into the frame.  The 14 Yard board allows for a cross along the top and bottom of the board. Schacht Warping Boards have a smooth sanded surface finish, making them pleasant to work with. 

Note: This product comes unoiled but includes instructions for proper oiling if you choose.

Note: As of July 2018, the warping boards now have black plastic hardware instead of metal.
