Description
The nine-patch is one of the earliest forms of patchwork. The block involves joining 9 squares to form a larger square. In its simplest form, the block is constructed of 9 plain squares. Using a variety of colors, the random color changes throughout and you create additional patches within in each square. Size:36″ square
Materials:800 yards of light worsted yarn for the center and 100 yards for the trim
US size 7 needles
Gauge:20 stitches = 4 inches in Stockinette Stitch
