Plateau PDF

Description

Plateau has a unique fabric and features color play. Using only knit and purl stitches, the larger gauge makes a sheer fabric for a feminine and elegant look.

The top is worked with two strands of main color held together throughout, and a contrast color is added in some sections. Those sections are worked with three strands of yarn held together, providing more structure and less of a sheer fabric for contrast.

15 stitches x 21 rows = 4“/10cm in stockinette stitch with two strands of yarn held together (blocked)

20” length:
MC 4 [4, 4, 4, 5, 5] skeins or 1543 [1634, 1737, 1829, 1932, 2023] yards
CC 1 skein or 296 [319, 345, 368, 401, 418] yards

22” length:
MC: 4 [4, 4, 5, 5, 5] skeins or 1632 [1730, 1843, 1941, 2054, 2152] yards
CC: 1 skein or 305 [329, 356, 380, 407, 431] yards

24” length:
MC: 4 [4, 5, 5, 5, 5] skeins or 1721 [1827, 1948, 2055, 2176, 2282] yards
CC: 1 skein or 341 [368, 399, 425, 445, 465] yards

To make a longer length. For each additional ¾“/2cm in length, you need an additional 36 [39, 42, 45, 49, 52] yards of MC.

US 9/5.5mm needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
