Description
Beaded medallions worked in the round with vertical pillars of double yarnovers border a simple diagonal lace center. Samarran was designed to evoke the curling script that adorns ornate desert buildings with glittering blue tiles in the bright sun.

GAUGE 16 sts/27 rows = 4” main body chart after blocking; gauge is not critical for this pattern but may affect yardage.
